The ambiance was a bit cold and uninteresting.  The food was good.  The experience was marred by the service.  The staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed.  Pacing was terrible.  Disappointed and would not recommend.

La Closerie

Was happy to see the Bresse chicken on the menu. Nicest place open on a Sunday. Great location to sit out on the square and just enjoy. Tiramisu was an interesting take, very good.

Came here last night with our dog , who was made to feel more than welcome .Service was quick and the food was superb especially the beef bourguignon , delicious. Would highly recommend le fine heurs

Not great! There are far better restaurants in Dijon in my view. This place was so-so and I would not recommend. The food was average at best and the service was not great.

Service kindly assisted with our choices, we&rsquo;ve had a nice platter of cheeses, cuts of meat and some fruits. Kids enjoyed the atmosphere and the deserts were fabulous!

This is a very good restaurant.Location, food, and service is nice.I&#39;ve been there with my family in august 24.Even if this is a smart and Michelin star restaurant, they were been very kind even with our dog, offering him water.Just a suggestion: booking with the fork, it seems possible to chose a 40/45&euro;&nbsp;menu or order a la carte, but this is available just for lunch. I think could be fair be clear on this.Anyway I suggest this place.

A nice restaurant with authentic cuisine, nice environment and great service. Many people come here, so it is a good choice. After all, it is in France, and enjoying the taste of French food is unique.

Lovely food, wine and great service.  La Closerie is the restaurant of a hotel, it has a small but perfectly formed menu.  Our group had the Lamb, Pork and Cod, all were excellent.  A good choice of wine by the glass and an excellent full wine list.  Good value for the quality of food.  It&rsquo;s classic French cooking, almost no vegetables so if you want some remember to order as an addition.  It&rsquo;s a little m confusing to find, if you type the name into Google you arrive at a different looking restaurant- but one that is part of the hotel as well.  Following the address listed gets you there with less confusion.  I&rsquo;d thoroughly recommend - great food and service in a calm and beautiful atmosphere.

We were attracted by the Valentines special which included only the menu. The set menu was very interesting, variations and some fusion cuisine, for example a ginger marinated carrot under lobster tail. All the food was interesting and there was a good variety. I can&#39;t speak to the regular menu, I doubt they repeat the same choices.A drawback is that they don&#39;t have wine pairings. I find this to be somewhat remiss as they do have a sommelier.The room is period with architecture from a previous era, the decor is updated and the room was cozy, although it would have added something to have a fireplace. The service is team service, which is refreshing, although at times we still had to wait longer than we should have.All in all, a good place to go, but I would not gvie it top marks, so the price doesn&#39;t really match the quality.

Beautiful setting and surroundings, fine food and well presented. The staff wasn&rsquo;t the most engaging that night, hopefully it was only a bad day for them

The secret is inside! Go inside to eat (outside to drink and people-watch). So comfortable. Exceptional terrine, escargot (true bourgogne style) and beef burgundy (I think they started making it yesterday!). Great wines, both white and red.

Dijon not only has many famous attractions, but also has a lot of great food. This Loiseau des Ducs restaurant is very famous. This restaurant has a great environment and the food tastes great.
